LyricFind Launches Groundbreaking iPhone and Facebook Lyrics Applications

LyricFindToronto – LyricFind, the world’s leading provider of legal lyrics services, is today excited to announce the release of the first-ever legal lyrics applications for both the iPhone and Facebook.

Both applications provide access to LyricFind’s massive database of over one million lyrics, representing over 40,000 artists and 200,000 albums, which is the largest legal collection available today. Users can also access artist images and bios, discographies, and album art, plus see charts of the top lyrics and artists across LyricFind’s entire network of hundreds of sites. Lyrics are searchable by artist, song name, and even the lyrics themselves (for those times when you’ve got a song running through your head and have no idea what it is!).

LyricFind’s iPhone application is available in two different flavours – a free, ad-supported version “LyricFind Lite” and ad-free “LyricFind” for a mere $3.99.

The Facebook application takes the experience a step further. In addition to everything the iPhone app can do, the Facebook version allows users to take and create lyrics-based (or music-based) quizzes, dedicate lyrics to their friends, and even submit lyrics to grow the database!

“We’re excited to be the first to bring lyrics, a key component of the music experience, to two of the largest platforms available.” said Darryl Ballantyne, LyricFind’s CEO. “It’s important that consumers have a legal source for lyrics content that gets rights holders paid.”

LyricFind offers the world’s largest and highest quality database of song lyrics, with licensing from all major publishers (EMI, Warner-Chappell, Universal/BMG, and Sony/ATV), as well as thousands of independent publishers. LyricFind’s database also powers services such as Last.fm, Lyrics.com, Rhapsody, Slacker, Shazam, Music.com, and many more.
