CBCI Telecom To Demo Snapstream Media Monitoring Demo at GTEC 2011

cbci telecomCanadian visual communications solutions provider CBCI Telecom will be offering live demonstrations of the US-made Snapstream Media Monitoring Appliance at the upcoming GTEC 2011 conference on October 18th and 19th at the New Ottawa Convention Center. GTEC 2011 expo floor tickets are free for public sector personnel or $50.00 for the private sector, so register soon. There are still some ticket options available for the full conference, as well.

Snapstream will be showcasing, in GTEC booth # 123, the multiple capabilities of the Snapstream Media Monitoring appliance. SnapStream’s powerful fusion of DVR and search engine technology allows to record and search television right from a PC. Imagination does not limit the capabilities of this appliance. In the expansive domain of TV Search, TV clips can be archived for months (even years) on end. Unlimited, instant TV clips can be easily created. TV Alerts are received via e-mail, with even more features also available.

With the added feature of Clustering, SnapStream’s robust, fifth-generation platform makes it possible to combine several SnapStream appliances into a unified TV-search-tank. With the SnapStream Cluster, become sovereign ruler of a TV monitoring empire—which may include such profound luxuries as a SnapStream Storage Node for long-term archival or a SnapStream ShowSqueeze Node for mass transcoding. This is a power rush! CBCI Telecom and Snapstream are bringing it together to GTEC this year under the theme ‘Connected Government – Working Together to Better Serve Canadians’.

There is only one way to understand all the true benefits TV Search technology and that is with a live demonstration. The presentations will be ongoing throughout the day between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm on the 18th and 19th of October at the Snapstream booth #123. CBCI Telecom will also have presentations at booth #101.
