GameTree TV Surpasses 250K Users

transgamingTransGaming Inc., a leader in the multiplatform deployment of interactive entertainment, today announced that GameTree TV™, the premier on-demand interactive entertainment platform for Smart TV, has been downloaded by 250,000 users in the six months since its commercial launch. TransGaming expects GameTree TV to reach more than 1 million users in its first year.

GameTree TV is now firmly entrenched in the connected living room, with peak average unique visitors per day growing from 1,700 in its first weeks to more than 3,000 in October. In addition, the customer loyalty rate has increased to 50 percent up from 25 percent. Consumers are also enjoying more of the GameTree TV experience. The average game session now lasts 65 minutes, 20 percent longer than the average session as recorded during the first two months post launch.GameTreeTV

TransGaming expects the dramatic growth of GameTree TV to continue as new games and content are added on a weekly basis. GameTree TV currently features over 50 games, and TransGaming plans to grow the catalog to more than 60 titles by the end of the year. Along with a variety of new features, capabilities and platform enhancements, the company expects to announce the addition of at least one new multiservice operator (MSO) in the coming months.

“Since we launched GameTree TV a mere six months ago, consumer adoption has been outstanding, with 1,000 new users per day. Given how rapidly we are adding new titles and new features, we expect to reach an inflection point soon and surpass this growth rate over the next six months.” said Vikas Gupta, CEO and President of TransGaming. “The addition of new MSOs will further accelerate GameTree TV’s growth, and we have many more exciting announcements coming up that will solidify our position as the world’s most widely enjoyed game platform for Smart TV. While the rest of the industry talks about the future of Smart TV, we are delivering it now with an immersive entertainment experience for the connected living room.”
