Astral Joins C2-MTL conference As Media Partner

astral mediaAstral Media Inc. has announced its association with the C2-MTL creative business conference as media partner. This collaboration will allow the conference to benefit from extensive visibility on Astral media properties and platforms. The media campaign was deployed today in downtown Toronto and in the heart of the Montréal business district. As well, throughout the month of May, two transit zones at the Montréal-Trudeau international airport will display the C2-MTL colours to promote the event to local and foreign travellers.

“Creativity is part of Astral’s core values and one of the key factors of success of any company that wants to set itself apart and become a leader in its field. It is therefore totally natural for Astral to associate itself with C2-MTL and as such contribute to Montréal’s visibility as a world hub of business creativity,” said Jacques Parisien, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Astral.

“Astral was among the first partners to take part in the C2-MTL adventure. Since this is the first edition of the event, our partners’ contribution is essential and will give us exposure and visibility.  We are very pleased to be able to count on Astral’s support,” said Benoît Berthiaume, Executive Producer, C2-MTL.

CJAD 800, Astral’s News/Talk English-language radio station in Montréal, will also take part in C2-MTL promotional activities. It will provide a prime showcase for emerging Québec entrepreneurs participating in C2-MTL and give them the opportunity to share their experience and discuss innovation.

The C2-MTL conference is a unique event, which will be held from May 22 to 25, bringing together an all-star cast of speakers from the business and creative communities, including Google, Walt Disney, Moment Factory and Cirque du Soleil. The 800 or so participants from all over the world will discuss various ways companies can leverage creativity. The event will provide a unique experience, combining prestigious conferences, networking opportunities, theatrical performances and collaborative workshops.
