New Mobile Game Hungry Fins Will Give Back to Community

pepperdev [1]Vancouver gaming startup Pepperdev Studios [1] has announced their first title: Hungry Fins. The studio has launched a Kickstarter [2] campaign to complete the final stages of development, and once released, a portion of all App Store revenue will be donated to BC Children’s Hospital [3].

The community driven, all-ages game is currently in full development stage. Beyond just an iPhone game, Hungry Fins is looking to produce a brand that entertains children and adults alike. The Pepperdev Studios team came together to produce a mobile game that everyone can enjoy and the magnificent world of Hungry Fins was brought to life. The Pepperdev team has just launched a crowd-funding campaign through Kickstarter [4] to help raise the final development funds to complete this project – the goal is $8000.00.

Pepperdev Studios is currently a non-revenue generating organization with each member volunteering his or her time and expertise. Pepperdev Studios is a proud partner with local BC Children’s Hospital where it looks to give back to the community and truly enrich the lives of those less fortunate.

Kickstarter has become a useful tool in the creative world to fund projects that would otherwise not come to fruition. The Pepperdev team is confident in the creative talent behind Hungry Fins and the immense enjoyment the project could have for those who get the opportunity to play the game and lose themselves in a fantasy world.

The Pepperdev team consists of: Mark Brown, Devon Drumm, Kim Voll, Ryan Harris and Ben Lam. With each member bringing a different area of expertise to the table, this plays a vital role in the project’s polish. From the technical side to the artistic, the team has the right skill set to create an extraordinary product and truly make a difference. The team hopes to reach their funding goal on Kickstarter and complete the first title of the Hungry Fins brand.
