Klipfolio Focuses On Application Performance With Latest Release

klipfolioOttawa’s Klipfolio Inc. has announced the latest release of its cloud business intelligence dashboard, Klipfolio Dashboard for web and mobile. At the center of this release is a new optimization that makes dashboard rendering in web browsers anywhere from 1.5 to 4.5 times faster. This optimization will have the greatest impact on accounts with a large number of KPIs displayed on their dashboard. Note that there are no restrictions on the number of KPIs or dashboards that users can create.

In addition to this performance enhancement, the gauge visualization now supports using multiple colour ranges. This will allow users to choose multiple colours to represent unique states for the value displayed in the gauge. The Library, Klipfolio’s resource management tool, received an important UI update that makes it easy to perform bulk actions on resources like data sources, KPIs, and dashboard tabs.

Here are some of the other features users can expect to see next time they login:

  •     Text Field support for the User Input Control component lets users perform searches directly from their dashboard.
  •     New functions added: Switch, Select, and Datasource.
  •     Various back-end performance enhancements
