FindMeCoffee Announces Release Of Windows 8 App

find me coffee [1]FindMeCoffee [1] is pleased to announce the release of its Windows 8 App [2] to coincide with the release of the Windows 8.1 update. This new version takes advantage of the new Windows 8 UI functionality while maintaining compatibility with Internet Explorer 10 for non-app users. This version demonstrates further enhancements and capabilities of the development team and will extend the App’s beyond the Windows 8 mobile right into the desktop.

Future plans include extending the mobile platform to have all of the functionality of the web version so that mobile users will be able to read the blogs and make use of the Coffee Product Locator right from their phones.

There have been more than 75,000 downloads of FindMeCoffee, and with the addition of the Windows 8 App, developer Grexen expects to reach a goal of more than 100,000 downloads in the first year of operation. The FindMeCoffee website and apps have performed more than 3,000,000 local coffee searches and are on target to reach 5,000,000 local coffee searches by September.

FindMeCoffee would like to take this opportunity to thank its visitors for contributing more than 5,000 organic reviews since September 2012. The rate of reviews is increasing rapidly so the developers are listening to the comments of users and are planning to add more capabilities to reviews to make them more informative to visitors.

“FindMeCoffee fans should expect to be able to add images and more comprehensive reviews by year’s end.” Says Scott Magnan CTO for FindMeCoffee.
