Kensington especially wants to build their page as a community not only for fans of Museum Secrets, but for fans of history, culture, art, museums and mobile technology as well, so that the series producers can tell these fans about new and upcoming projects as well as keep them up to date on currently airing series. Be sure to check out Kensington’s 2012 project, Shameless Idealists – a series of programs for TV, DVD, Web and Schools, about celebrities who are creating positive social change. If you’re in Canada, you can watch the full episodes on the Idealists’ site.

In the Fall Kensington will be releasing its new mobile app project Scopify with the Royal Ontario Museum. The company will use its KensingtonTV Facebook page and company blog to start releasing more news about the development of the app, and give people a better idea about it, soon.

“The mobile app we’re producing for the ROM, called Scopify, is groundbreaking in the museum app market,” states Kensington Founder/President and Executive Producer, Robert Lang. “It’s going to be released this fall as a locative museum tour, a journey through the museum that users wouldn’t ordinarily be able to experience. Using your mobile device as a tool, you’ll get to see the museum objects in a new and exciting way. Our experience producing 3 seasons of Museum Secrets has allowed us to convert our understanding of the museum space to create something truly unique for mobile.”
