A week after a mysterious crate was discovered deep in the Canadian wilderness, information about its contents are finally being released. Examined in a secure facility near Whistler in British Columbia, television personality Ajay Fry and Donkey Kong himself have revealed what the much-speculated crate contained – and it’s totally bananas! Snowed In Studios is pleased to announce that Windforge is available for sale as a pre-release on the game’s official site. In addition, WindForge received the green light from the Steam Community on January 7th and will be launched on March 11, 2014, on the Steam Store. The game has been partially funded by a Kickstarter campaign, which ran from November 6 to December 6 2013, and was successful thanks to the backers who got behind the title to contribute just over $50,000 to complete the game. This financial contribution allowed Snowed In Studios, who offer work-for-hire game development services, to continue production and bring their first original title to market as planned. Northumberland CFDC, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing financing and strategy for entrepreneurs has issued a call for entrants for its 2014 N100 competition. N100 is a competition for startup companies with the potential to grow, innovate and create jobs in Northumberland, Ontario. There is no need to be currently located in Northumberland to participate, and a $100,000 in investment capital is available. Independent developer Frima Studio has announced a television adaptation of its popular mobile app series CosmoCamp is in development in partnership with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and Radio-Canada. The animated series will follow the adventures of two space bear buddies, Migo and Pandy, who explore their world with one goal in mind: bringing justice and happiness to all.
