[1]Telefilm Canada [1] is proud to recognize Canada’s presence at the 19th Busan International Film Festival [2] and the Asian Film Market [3] in South Korea, which will be held October 2 to 11 and October 5 to 8, respectively. Seven Canadian films have been selected by the Festival, one of the most important in Asia, including two world premieres. A delegation of a dozen directors, producers and actors will be there to represent the Canadian industry.
The Canadian Embassy in Korea and the Quebec Office in Seoul will hold a networking event with the Canadian delegates present.

- Gurov and Anna [5] (Quebec), directed by Rafaël Ouellet – World premiere
- Maps to the Stars [6] (Ontario), directed by David Cronenberg
- Mommy [7] (Quebec), directed by Xavier Dolan (Jury Prize, 2014 Cannes Film Festival, ex aequo)
Flash Forward Section (competitive section for first- or second-time feature filmmakers from outside Asia)
- Cast No Shadow [8] (Newfoundland, Ontario), directed by Christian Sparkes – funded by Telefilm Canada’s Micro-Budget Production Program [9]
- Sitting on the Edge of Marlene [10] (British Columbia), directed by Ana Valine
- With Child [11] (British Columbia), directed by Titus Heckel – World premiere
