The GDC is the world’s largest and longest-running professionals-only game industry event, showcasing the best and brightest in video game and interactive technology. 27 CMF-Funded Productions Win 51 Canadian Screen Awards

Canada Media FundThe Canada Media FundThe Canada Media Fund (CMF) congratulates the winners and nominees of the 2015 Canadian Screen Awards, which have been recognized for their excellence by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television, and industry professionals at a series of events which culminated with last night’s televised gala. A total of 27 CMF-funded productions won 51 Canadian Screen Awards, including top winners such as Call Me Fitz, Degrassi, Sensitive Skin, Tales from the Organ Trade, Bomb Girls, and the Fan’s Choice Award, Lost Girl. CMPA Content Everywhere 2 Report Shows Canadian Producers Are Laying Claim To Online Video Gold Rush

CMPA2014 was a turning point for Canada’s digital-first media landscape, according to a new report released today by the Canadian Media Production Association (CMPA). The report, Content Everywhere (2): Securing Canada’s Place in the Digital Future, examines the emerging marketplace for English-language linear content created outside the traditional studio and broadcast system over the past four years.
