GREE has announced the release of Knights & Dragons: Rise of the Dark Prince, an all-new free-to-play game for iOS devices developed in collaboration with Vancouver developer IUGO Mobile Entertainment Inc. Knights & Dragons takes players on a medieval adventure to a fantastical kingdom, a once-peaceful place that has been overrun by the evil Dark Prince and his army. Knights & Dragons offers a suite of robust social features, including battling friends in weekly player-versus-player tournaments, hiring friends’ knights to use in battle, accessing leaderboards, and viewing players’ profiles and adding them as friends. In development over at Last Pick Productions, iBeg is a mobile game for the iOS and Android platforms that simulates the life of a homeless person living on the streets of Vancouver. Players step into the shoes of a homeless avatar and have to beg for money in order to survive. The game’s creators hope the game will raise awareness of the issue in our city, as well as around the world while providing an avenue for players to support organizations that help the homeless.
