Mark Meer Announced As Host For Canadian Videogame Awards

Canadian Video Game AwardsThe Canadian Videogame Awards (CVAs) is pleased to announce celebrated videogame actor Mark Meer as the new host for the 5th annual ceremony, taking place November 21st at The Carlu in the heart of downtown Toronto.  Mark Meer is a Canadian actor that has appeared in several world-class videogames, including the Mass Effect franchise, the Dragon Age franchise and the highly anticipated 2014 release, The Long Dark. International Films Garner Majority of SIGGRAPH 2014 Computer Animation Festival Honors

Telefilm Canada Invites Producers To Submit Feature Films To Pan-Canadian Oscar Selection Committee

Telefilm Canada Telefilm Canada invites producers to submit their feature films to the pan-Canadian Oscar selection committee for a chance to represent Canada for consideration as a possible nominee in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 87th Academy Awards. In order to be considered, films must have been released commercially in theatres for at least seven consecutive days between October 1, 2013 and September 30, 2014 in 35 mm, 70 mm or Digital Cinema Package (DCP)1 format.
