Reloaded Interactive Announces Launch Of Dynamic In-Game Advertising Network

reloaded-advertisingReloaded Interactive, one of the World’s largest in-game ad companies, has announced the launch of a dynamic in-game advertising network that is capable of delivering real-time ads within AAA game titles for console, mobile, and PC platforms. The new network utilizes Reloaded’s ad servers and technology to display advertisements to gamers playing with an active internet connection. BC Steals The Show At SIGGRAPH 2013

Province of BCBritish Columbia representatives are in the spotlight as tens of thousands of participants converge on Anaheim for SIGGRAPH 2013, the place to be if you work with computer graphics and interactive technologies. B.C. is preparing to host SIGGRAPH 2014, the 40th anniversary edition of the influential event next year in Vancouver, which became the first location to host SIGGRAPH North America outside of the United States in 2011. That event welcomed 15,872 artists, research scientists, game developers, filmmakers and researchers from 74 countries. SIGGRAPH 2011 broke the city’s previous conference attendance records and, according to the Vancouver Convention Centre, generated an estimated $38.5 million in direct spending for the local economy. 17 Canadian Companies Receive Over $12M For Interactive Digital Media Projects

Debitway Speaks Out About Games For Social Good

mini-orbyDebitWay’s Corporate Blog has reported about a game being developed by Concordia’s Critical Hit Summer Program that focuses on educating gamers about the making of weaponry to highlight how profiteering works and show the world that more guns don’t mean the end of world problems. The game, tentatively called Gun Factory, is a part of a four-game project by the same program and is being developed by recent graduate Mehrdad Dehdashti. Casual Games Association Brings Indie Prize Showcase To Casual Connect USA

Casual ConnectThe Casual Games Association (CGA) has announced that it will feature the first North American Indie Prize Showcase at its Casual Connect Conference in San Francisco. The event, launched earlier this year at Casual Connect Europe and Asia events, is expected to feature new games from more than 100 indie development teams. The Indie Prize Showcase is a free program created to reward the industry’s top independent development talent with resources, relationships and recognition. For the first North American event, more than 100 games will be featured on-site at Casual Connect by the development teams who created them. Video Gamers Frustrated By Lack Of Multi-Device Accessibility

The survey was conducted among consumers who have purchased digital content and video games online in the last 12 months. The sample comprised 11,483 consumers aged 18+, 10,075 of which purchased digital goods and services and 7,554 who have purchased video games and 6,776 that have purchased both.
