Sixteen fighters. One cover. Who joins Jones? Electronic Arts Inc. and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC^®) have announced that Jon ‘Bones’ Jones, the youngest champion in UFC history, will be one of two fighters to appear on the EA Sports UFC cover. The second fighter will be selected by fans in the EA Sports UFC Cover Vote presented by MetroPCS. The 16 fighters featured in the cover vote include current UFC champions and top contenders, such as Georges St-Pierre, Ronda Rousey, Anthony Pettis, Chris Weidman, Johny Hendricks, Jose Aldo, Alexander Gustafsson, Miesha Tate, and more. Kaleena Ross has learned some valuable lessons about starting a small business, but thanks to mentorship, she did not need to learn them the hard way. Kaleena found a mentor in Shauna Harper, a marketing and communications strategist with LiveWork PG. The Ministry of Technology, Innovation and Citizens’ Services is inviting British Columbians to share their ideas on the future of digital services in B.C., and how the BC Services Card could potentially help enable better service delivery. This open public consultation is one part of a broader process designed to help inform government of the values and needs of citizens with regards to the future of the BC Services Card and digital services. The giant Xbox One I told you about earlier this week powered up last evening (I was at work beating the quarterly Fuel Tax report into submission and couldn’t make the event) and onlookers at the corner of Nelson and Seymour in Vancouver were witness to a seasonal treat – a live action appearance of new character Nick Ramos from Capcom Vancouver‘s upcoming Dead Rising 3 title and a horde of zombies. The defending crowd was armed with an array of weapons to beat back the horde and they did just that, and they did it with gusto! In the spirit of Halloween, Dead Rising 3 also released a new trailer to celebrate. The trailer encapsulates the reckless carnage of the hotly anticipated open-world zombie action game. Rhombus Media, Corus Entertainment‘s Movie Central, and Bell Media‘s The Movie Network have announced that production is underway on Sensitive Skin, a new series based on the acclaimed BBC program of the same name, with shooting to take place in Toronto over six weeks. Kim Cattrall stars in the bittersweet comedy about 50-somethings and executive produces along with co-star Don McKellar, who directs all six episodes from scripts by Bob Martin. Also announced today are additional cast members including Academy Award^®-nominee Elliott Gould (M*A*S*H, Friends, Ray Donovan), Nicolas Wright (White House Down), Gemini Award-winner Colm Feore (The Borgias), Joanna Gleason (Last Vegas), Gemini Award-winner Clé Bennett (FlashPoint), Mary Walsh (This Hour Has 22 Minutes), and Marc-André Grondin (C.R.A.Z.Y.).
