MediaScreen 2012 Survey: A Strategic Review of BC’s Screen-Based Industries
The Government of BC, Vancouver Economic Development (VEC), the Motion Picture Production Industry Association of BC, the Canadian Media Production Association – BC Producers’ Branch, British Columbia Film + Media, Wavefront and DigiBC are undertaking a strategic review of BC’s screen-based industries to help support their collective future.
This is an important initiative in light of the dramatically evolving creative media sector, and the opportunities and threats presented by digital technology. This will be the first time in Canada that the provincial film, TV and digital media industries will be profiled and supported in an integrated manner.
We want to hear from you and your fellow producers, developers and screen-based professionals as we develop a profile and strategy to support your sector, and help companies like yours grow and succeed.
Have your voice heard and ensure that your business interests are represented by completing the MediaScreen 2012 survey. You may also receive this link in an email directly from Nordicity. You only need to fill out the questionnaire once.
We need every screen-based artist, business, producer and developer in British Columbia to complete the survey. Your responses will help contribute to the future of BC’s screen-based industries by demonstrating who you are, what you do, and the important contribution that you make in terms of jobs created, taxes paid and revenues generated for the benefit of the BC and Canadian economies.
Your input is vital to helping us develop a strategy and recommendations for BC film, TV and digital media – we want it to reflect your needs and interests. Thank you in advance for your participation in this BC screen-based industries initiative.
