.CA is building Canada online – come help shape its future! Apply to join the Canadian Internet Registration Authority’s (CIRA) Nomination Committee. The Nomination Committee helps build a Board of Directors that represents a wide range of views and interests as it defines the strategic direction of .CA and contributes to Canadian Internet policy. It plays a critical role in soliciting and selecting qualified candidates for the Nomination Committee Slate of CIRA’s Board of Directors Election.

Being a member of CIRA’s Nomination Committee provides you with the opportunity to:

• Serve a two-year term with the objective of building a Member-elected Board of Directors that represents a wide range of views and interests.
• Make a valuable contribution to the strategic direction of .CA and Canadian Internet policy.
• Leverage your Board and/or Committee skills and experience toward the development of a fast-paced technology organization.

* Travel expenses for a meeting in Ottawa will be reimbursed.

Who should apply?

Canadians with committee experience and/ or an interest in technology or the Internet, and a commitment to contributing to the development of CIRA’s Board.

Interested individuals are invited to submit their application between January 14 and 31, 2013.
