Color Shift Free Coming To iTunes March 17th

rocknrolla gamesOttawa-based indie mobile games company, RocknRolla Games has announced that it will be releasing a free version of its popular game Color-Shift. RocknRolla Games has also integrated new features for the free game. Some of the new features are Facebook and Twitter in app integration, and a new results screen to detail user’s game statistics. Color-Shift Free will be released to Apple’s App Store on March 17th 2013 and will run on all Apple supported iOS devices (iPhone 3gs, iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPad 2, iPad 3, and iPad Mini). Eon Altar: Exploring New Worlds At PAX East

flying helmet gamesEon Altar is a new cooperative role-playing adventure that blends the experience of classic tabletop gaming and modern video games in a Tabletop Video Game. We had a sit-down chat with Flying Helmet Games‘ Project Director Edward Douglas a couple of weeks ago, and found the game and its mechanics to be rather intriguing. Personally, I think that Eon Altar will be a great way to bring back family game night, as it bridges the gap between those of us who played Dungeons & Dragons in high school and our digital kids. The nature of Eon Altar’s game play could also open doors for connecting with kids and encouraging conversation as quests are undertaken, feats are attempted, treasure is uncovered and beasts are defeated.
