ACL Launches Data-Driven Cloud-Based GRC Solution
ACL has announced the launch of ACL™ GRC, the first data-driven, cloud-based governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) solution. ACL GRC quickly delivers value across the organization by integrating risk management objectives with data-driven analysis and decision making. The solution replaces shared-drive and fragmented technology approaches to GRC management, while promoting best practices, communication and alignment of disparate GRC functions across the organization.
ACL GRC capabilities span:
- Risk management: Perform enterprise-wide risk assessment to drive mitigation efforts across all risk and control groups.
- Project management: Efficiently plan and organize engagements for all audit, risk and compliance management programs, through to execution and reporting, including global tracking and reporting of issues.
- Results management: Share and manage data analysis results from ACL™ Analytics, drive remediation activities and track outcomes, enabling informed, data-driven risk assessment, prioritization and decision making.
“Traditional audit roles are expanding to risk and compliance, creating a need for GRC technology to support the three lines of defense in effective risk management: Operational Management, Risk Management and Compliance Functions, and Internal Audit,” said Richard Chambers, President and CEO of The Institute of Internal Auditors. “Bridging the current gaps between these lines of defense is critical to improving communication and integrating GRC activities across an organization.”
In today’s constantly changing, volatile business landscape, ACL’s SaaS model minimizes IT burden, while providing the highest level of security and centralized 24/7 cloud access from anywhere. ACL GRC enables remote and mobile users to stay productive through its innovative smartphone and tablet interfaces. ACL GRC also supports data-driven decision making through integration with ACL Analytics, a powerful, cost-effective data analysis tool, linking transaction level information to corporate level risks. The new offering will integrate with server-based ACL™ Analytics Exchange to enable continuous risk monitoring.
“Customers were telling us that they wanted to apply the simplicity and effectiveness of ACL’s existing audit solutions to their broader GRC needs, so a full GRC offering is a natural next step,” said President and CEO of ACL, Laurie Schultz. “We aim to provide a straightforward solution and continue to lead the way in cutting edge innovation by placing GRC in the cloud, which also creates a cost benefit for the user.”
A webinar on June 19 will demonstrate how to simplify GRC. Register for “ACL GRC: A Fresh Solution for Governance, Risk and Compliance” online.
