Get Your Canadian Videogame Awards Nominations In
Nominations for the 5th Annual Canadian Videogame Awards, to be held at the Carlu in Toronto this April 10th will close on January 24th. This year’s show will once again celebrate the best and brightest of the Canadian videogame industry. Developers, publishers and industry leaders from across Canada will gather in beautiful Toronto to recognize the outstanding achievements of 2013. Nominations are for work developed in Canada and released in 2013, and are welcome from all parts of Canada’s game industry. The award categories, as determined by a committee of industry leaders from across Canada, are:
- Best Console Game
- Best Downloadable Game
- Best Game on the Go
- Best Social/Casual Game
- Best Animation
- Best Audio
- Best Game Design
- Best Innovation
- Best Indie Game
- Best New Character
- Best Technology
- Best Visual Arts
- Best Writing
- Game of the Year
- Fans’ Choice Award
The Canadian Videogame Awards are produced by Reboot Communications and EP Media. The Awards are officially endorsed by the Entertainment Software Association of Canada and DigiBC. The producers are joined by a national industry committee of developers and leaders of the Canadian digital entertainment industry.
