Minority Has New Titles

minority media [1]Minority Media [1], the award-winning independent game development studio behind Papo & Yo [2], today revealed its 2014-2015 release lineup, beginning with Loco Motors [3], a physics-based puzzle game available now on the iOS App Store for $1.99 USD.

In development since early 2013, Loco Motors is a colorful iOS game in which players rely on their creativity to customize a stunt car and shoot it through 50 increasingly challenging tracks, solving physics-based loco-moto [4]puzzles. Riffing off the Minority team’s background in AAA racing titles like Need For Speed, this new mobile game is already topping App Store download charts in over 45 countries, including the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

“Loco Motors is the toy I always wanted to have as a boy. It’s a dream come true,” said Minority’s creative director, Vander Caballero. “The team and I are also very excited about Silent Enemy and we can’t wait to see how fans react to this new emotional experience. As for Cali, it’s still a very young project, but we’re looking forward to taking this love story to new-gen console gamers.”

Alongside Loco Motors, Minority currently has two other titles in development that are slated to launch this year and next. This spring, the team will release their much-anticipated magical adventure game set in Canada’s far north, Silent Enemy [5], on iOS. Cali, the spiritual successor to Papo & Yo, is coming to new generation consoles in early 2015. Fans can expect to hear more about Silent Enemy and Cali in the coming months.

Loco Moto is rated 4+ and requires iOS 4.0 or later. It is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPad, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), and iPod touch (5th generation). This app is optimized for iPhone 5. Please Note: iPod Touch 4th Gen and lower, iPhone 4 and lower or iPad 1 are not compatible with this app.
