Disney XD Delivers The Laughs This Holiday Season
This December, Disney XD offers a tree-mendously hilarious holiday lineup that will keep kids laughing all the way into the New Year. From timeless winter classics like Home Alone 2: Lost in New York and Elf to side-splitting specials from Penn Zero: Part Time Hero and Lab Rats, the network’s filled with festive fun. Below is a chronological listing of detailed program highlights for December – all broadcast times shown are ET. All programming is subject to change. Saturday, December 6
- Elf – Feature Film – 6:30 p.m. – After inadvertently wreaking havoc on the elf community due to his ungainly size, a man raised as an elf (Will Ferrell, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues) at the North Pole is sent to the U.S. in search of his true identity.
Sunday, December 7
- Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures – “Happy Holidays and a Merry Berry Day” – New Episode – 10:30 a.m. – As the holidays approach, Pac gets a surprise visit from his parents, who are on a “top-secret mission.” After trying to hide them from even his closest friends, Pac’s pals become increasingly suspicious something is very wrong… and they may be very right.
- Wander Over Yonder – “The Gift” – New Episode – 11 a.m. – In an effort to give a gift to every new friend he’s made, Wander sneaks onto Lord Hater’s ship to ensure that he and the Watchdogs get presents.
- Phineas and Ferb – “Phineas and Ferb Family Christmas” – Holiday Favourite – 11:15 a.m. – The boys decide to put together a traditional Christmas special featuring their family, friends and a few very special guests including Kelly Clarkson (as herself). The episode features three holiday songs – Isabella’s “Let it Snow,” Buford and Baljeet’s rendition of “Good King Wensecelas,” and the whole gang singing “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”
- Phineas and Ferb – “Christmas Vacation: Extended Edition” – Holiday Favourite – 11:30 a.m. – In this 45-minute special, Phineas and Ferb turn the city of Danville into a giant thank you card for Santa Claus while Doofenshmirtz uses a device called the “Naughty-inator” to put the city of Danville on Santa’s naughty list.
- Lab Rats – “Merry Glitchmas” – New Episode – 5:30 p.m. – When Adam, Bree and Chase discover that their new action figures are being outsold by another toy, they attempt to improve their toys by adding special features – bionic abilities.
Saturday, December 13
- ‘Twas the Night – Feature Film – 6:30 p.m. – A mischievous 14-year-old boy and his irresponsible uncle (Bryan Cranston, Breaking Bad) almost ruin Christmas when they decide to take Santa’s new high-tech sleigh for a joyride.
Sunday, December 14
- The 7D – “Gingersnaps and Grumpy Snaps/Jollybells” New Episode – 11:30 a.m. – Grumpy saves the life of an elf named Gingersnap (voiced by Cheri Oteri, Saturday Night Live) and Happy must figure out how to bring the holiday spirit back to the villagers of Jollywood after the Glooms try to drain the joy out of the town using a magical joybuster.
- Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero – “North Pole Down” – New Episode – 12 p.m. – In the first look at the new series coming in Winter 2015, Penn tries to avoid the holidays after being separated from his parents but is zapped to the North Pole to save Christmas as Santa Claus himself. Emmy Award-winner Henry Winkler (Happy Days) guest stars as Snowman.
- Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja – “Happy Hanukkah, Howard Weinerman/Snow-Klahoma!” – New Episode – 12:30 p.m. – Howard must save Greg’s Game Hole by learning the true meaning of Hanukkah. Then, Randy purposely leaves the Nomicon at school so Ninja-ing won’t ruin his trip with Howard to Snow-klahoma.
Saturday, December 20
- Home Alone 2: Lost in New York – Feature Film – 6:30 p.m. – One year after Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin, Robot Chicken) was left home alone and had to defeat a pair of bumbling burglars, he accidentally finds himself in New York City, and the same criminals are not far behind.
Monday, December 22 – Friday, January 2
- Christmas Break Pac-Attack! – Weekdays 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – It’s a Pac-Attack of monstrous proportions as the animated adventure series Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures takes over the network for Christmas break. Kids can jumpstart their weekdays with four back-to-back episodes of the wacky comedy that follows three teenage BFFs as they work to keep PacWorld free and safe from ghosts.
Friday, December 26 – Friday, January 2
- Post-Christmas Marathons – Weekdays beginning at 4 p.m.- Christmas may be over but Disney XD is still celebrating with marathons from the network’s top series airing weekday afternoons. Series include Mighty Med, Lab Rats, Kickin’ It and Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures.
