UL Warns Of Counterfeit UL Mark On USB Power Supply

ULThe following is a notification from UL that the USB power supply Model A1265 identified below bears a counterfeit UL Mark for the United States and Canada. This USB power supply has not been evaluated by UL to any Standards for Safety and it is unknown if it complies with any safety requirements. Note that the Model A1265 with the counterfeit UL Mark is similar to a Model A1265 that is authorized to bear the UL Mark. The counterfeit USB power supply Model A1265 is marked “Designed by Happy in trauel” and “Happy China”, which are different than the authorized model which is marked “Designed by Apple in California” and “Apple Japan.” Read the rest of this entry »

Register A Nintendo 3DS System And One Select Game And Get Best-Selling Pokémon X Or Pokémon Y For Free

Nintendo CanadaDuring the month of March, people who register a Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL or Nintendo 2DS system, as well as one of six select Nintendo 3DS games via Club Nintendo, will receive a free code to download either Pokémon X or Pokémon Y, the best-selling Nintendo 3DS games of 2013. The six participating games are Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, LEGO® City Undercover: The Chase Begins and the upcoming Yoshi’s New Island. Nintendo 3DS System Update Brings Nintendo Network ID And Miiverse

Nintendo Canada Nintendo Canada announced today that a system update for Nintendo 3DS is now available and brings with it new features that enable Nintendo Network ID functionality, as well as the ability to browse and post on Miiverse.  The update will allow users to register a Nintendo Network ID to their Nintendo 3DS system. If they also have a Wii U system, they can use the same Nintendo Network ID to combine their Nintendo eShop balances and Wish Lists.
