Zombie Outbreak – Are You Prepared?
The BC Government’s Emergency Info website has taken a very novel approach to teaching people about being prepared for emergencies. Using the always-popular Zombie theme, visitors are told that if they’re ready for a Zombie attack, they will pretty well be ready for any emergency or disaster that could arise.
This video from Emergency Info, made using the Xtra Normal Text To Video service, demonstrates the three point plan you should follow in order to beat back the Zombies.

Also contained in the Preparedness information is the CDC-produced graphic novel Preparedness 101: Zombie Pandemic. I hope that those employed by the CDC have read this publication, because we all know how the CDC fares in that altruistic documentary The Walking Dead.
Complete with a guest blog that highlights the many benefits to being prepared, the Zombie Attack Preparedness initiative contains important links to information citizens will need to know, such as emergency shelters and a list of items you should have in even the most basic of emergency kits (see Day Two for the list).
It’s good to see the Government is not only admitting to the existence of Zombies, it is helping citizens to be prepared, because this is Zombie Attack Preparedness Week (for those who weren’t aware of that fact).
Of course, to be totally prepared, you also need to get yourself one of these babies, which we first told you about earlier this month. With your Zombie Attack Emergency Plan, Kit and Truck, you should be good to go.
