Nightingale On Demand Receives Conditional Approval
Nightingale Informatix Corporation, a developer and provider of web-hosted Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and associated services, announced today that it has received Conditional Approval for EMR Specification 4.0 from OntarioMD.
Having successfully completed all requirements for the Ontario Laboratories Information System (OLIS) and Hospital Report Manager (HRM), Nightingale is now proceeding to the “live” Reference Site phase in order to achieve Funding Eligible status.
“As one of only three Funding Eligible ASP vendors in Ontario, and the largest ASP EMR vendor in Canada, Nightingale is committed to maintaining its Funding Eligible status in all jurisdictions where we operate,” said Sam Chebib, President and CEO of Nightingale. “The Ontario EMR Specification 4.0 provides our users with enhanced interoperability and functionality that will ultimately improve Nightingale’s users’ access to clinical information and is another step towards creating a fully integrated and interoperable healthcare system”.
Ontario Physicians will continue to receive funding under current Ontario funding programs, once the Reference Site phase is completed successfully, which is expected to last 60 days.
