Nextiva Video Management Software Supports ImmerVision Enables 360-Degree Viewing Technology

ImmervisionImmerVision announced today that the Nextiva® Video Management Software from US developer Verint® Systems supports ImmerVision Enables®, offering Verint customers a cutting-edge, 360-degree viewing technology to complement their video security applications.

Leveraging ImmerVision Enables panomorph lenses with Nextiva S5020BX-DN IP cameras, Verint customers can benefit from enhanced surveillance coverage as compared to older 360-degree technology, such as fisheye lenses, as well as help diminish response time to critical situations. Nextiva Video Management Software is engineered with some of the market’s most advanced video functionality. Its support of the ImmerVision Enables panomorph lenses, which became available in December 2011, further enhances the value security solutions can deliver with 360-degree viewing technology.

“We strive to offer the best solutions that address our customers’ surveillance needs,” says Debjit Das, vice president of global marketing, Verint Video Intelligence Solutions™. “Integrating ImmerVision Enables 360-degree viewing technology with Nextiva can add greater functionality and value to current security infrastructure investments.”

ImmerVision’s immersive viewing technology helps customers navigate through areas spanning 360 x 180 degrees, without image distortion. With this technology, customers that use the Nextiva platform can benefit from a full bird’s-eye view of a scene, opt for various viewing modes to examine different angles simultaneously and use supported digital-PTZ functionality to get a closer look at areas of interest.

“We are very happy to certify Verint’s Nextiva Video Management Software ImmerVision Enables,” adds Alessandro Gasparini, Chief Commercial Officer at ImmerVision. “Verint is a worldwide leader in video intelligence solutions. The addition of revolutionary panomorph optics technology reinforces its commitment to providing cutting-edge functionality to its global customer base.”
