[1]The Banff World Media Festival [1] has announced that Google will be honored with the prestigious Award of Excellence in Innovation. The Award will be accepted by Google’s Senior Vice President and Chief Business Officer, Nikesh Arora, who oversees all revenue and customer operations, as well as marketing and partnerships.
“There’s no doubt that Google’s sweet spot is and always has been innovation,” Ferne Cohen, Executive Director of Banff said. “The Company continues to drive innovation in multiple areas and industries with new products and services. We couldn’t be more pleased to share this prestigious award with them and are delighted that Nikesh will be attending BANFF to accept it.”
In addition to accepting the Award, Arora will also be giving a feature interview at BANFF 2012, in which delegates will get the chance to hear firsthand the strategy behind Google’s stunning growth and success.
Since joining Google in 2004, Arora has held several positions with the company. He developed and managed the company’s operations in the European, Middle Eastern and African markets and was responsible for creating and expanding strategic partnerships in those regions for the benefit of Google’s growing number of users and advertisers.
Arora is one of many prominent executives attending the 33rd annual Banff Media Festival.
