The BiLLe Lotto today begins accepting submissions for Best Blogger Canada, where Twitterers and bloggers compete for a €100,000.00 payroll, to be paid in 12 monthly installments. Canada’s best and brightest skilled trade and technology students received official recognition for their outstanding performance as Skills/Compétences Canada announced the results of the Skills Canada National Competition. The closing ceremonies, held yesterday in Edmonton, were highlighted by the parade of champions and the announcement of the Members of Team Canada, whose next stop will be WorldSkills Leipzig 2013. Telus and First Book Canada have announced that the two groups will deliver more than 30,000 new age-appropriate books to approximately 50 schools and programs across the Greater Toronto Area through the Telus Terrific Tales program. Deliveries will begin at North Kipling Junior Middle School in Etobicoke and will continue until June 25. First Book Canada is able to deliver books to these schools thanks to a generous $20,000 contribution from the Telus Toronto Community Board. Read the rest of this entry »
