The Canadian Digital Media Network (CDMN) announced today that two more digital media innovation centres have joined the CDMN’s cross-Canada network to enable collaboration and advance digital innovation nationally. The Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre in northern Ontario, and Tech SouthEast in Moncton, New Brunswick become the newest nodes on the CDMN network, bringing the total number across Canada to 12 nodes with 20 locations. The CDMN has ambitious expansion plans for the network, and intends to sign additional nodes west of Ontario before the end of the year. Key members of Canada’s business and enterprise sectors have joined Startup Canada’s leadership team as it prepares to launch its national strategy to support entrepreneurship in Canada. A new Board and two new advisory councils – a National Advisory Council and a Government, Industry and Academic Advisory Board – will strengthen the voice of entrepreneurs at the heart of the organization and engage additional stakeholders from Canada’s economic ecosystem.
