On November 29 and 30, 2012, Startup Canada is hosting the Startup Nations Summit in Ottawa in partnership with the British High Commission, the Canadian High Commission, the American Embassy, DFAIT, Microsoft and Shopify. This Summit is bringing together national startup initiatives from across the world – Britain, Malaysia, Portugal, Chile, America, Mexico, South Africa – to connect, share, learn, collaborate and unleash global entrepreneurship.

Event Information:

Startup Nations Summit (November 29 & 30) – Daytime Observer passes are available for those engaged in entrepreneurship policy, support, promotion, education and research. The event, which is being hosted at Microsoft Canada, features expert panels, presentations and dialogue around issues critical to better supporting entrepreneurs, building startup communities and ecosystems, and cultivating a dynamic entrepreneurial culture. Tickets for this event are $95.00 each. At posting time there were 30 tickets remaining.

Evening Keynote and Panel at Shopify (November 29, 7pm – 9pm) – Featuring a keynote address from Jonathan Ortmans, President of Global Entrepreneurship Week and Senior Fellow at the Kauffman Foundation – this is a must-attend event. Entrepreneurs, community stakeholders, policy makers, diplomatic practitioners and startup community builders will come together for a dynamic and inspiring evening with panelists and VIP attendees from across the world, including:
