The final chapter of Commander Shepard’s heroic saga draws near. BioWare has announced two new downloadable content packs for Mass Effect™ 3 – the single-player pack Mass Effect 3: Citadel and the multiplayer content Mass Effect 3: Reckoning. On February 26, Mass Effect 3: Reckoning will be free* to download, giving fans of the popular multiplayer mode in Mass Effect 3 access to new characters, weapons and upgrades. On March 5, Mass Effect 3: Citadel will be the last single player DLC pack for Mass Effect 3, giving fans one final, sentimental journey with Commander Shepard and their squad. Paramount Pictures and leading video game publisher and developer Namco Bandai Partners UK have announced a pre-order and day-one purchase opportunity with all UK Game stores. The partnership allows any purchaser of Star Trek The Video Game on any format an exclusive complimentary ticket to this year’s hottest movie Star Trek Into Darkness, which releases in cinemas everywhere in May 2013. More than 80 First LEGO League teams brought their robots, inventions and innovations to the First LEGO League (FLL) Championships held in Oshawa and Waterloo. “Senior Solutions”, this year’s challenge, asked teams of nine to fourteen year old builders to develop innovative ways to help senior citizens maintain their independence and quality of life, with over 80 different innovations proposed by teams to the judges at the two separate events held at UOIT in Oshawa on January 12th and at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo on January 13th.
