posted in National News, New Releases By: |

cpacThis Sunday, tune in to CPAC for The Campaigns, a new five-part documentary series that revisits the issues, platforms and personalities central to some of the 20th century’s most hotly-contested and formative Canadian federal elections.  The original CPAC series premières Sunday, November 24th at 9 p.m. ET and continues weekly until December 22nd.

The series début, The Great Free Trade Debate: The 1988 Federal Election, provides a unique retrospective on the 25th anniversary of this seminal election.  Along with key insiders, historians and academics, the then-leaders of all three federal parties offer their insight on the platforms, turning points and missteps of the campaign.
