Nintendo Canada announced today that a system update for Nintendo 3DS is now available and brings with it new features that enable Nintendo Network ID functionality, as well as the ability to browse and post on Miiverse. The update will allow users to register a Nintendo Network ID to their Nintendo 3DS system. If they also have a Wii U system, they can use the same Nintendo Network ID to combine their Nintendo eShop balances and Wish Lists. Telefilm Canada has released the highlights of its 2012-2013 annual report at its fifth Annual Public Assembly, held this year at the PHI Centre in Montreal. Under the theme Talent First, Chair of the Board, Michel Roy, and Executive Director, Carolle Brabant, presented the results that showed a growing interest in Canadian film, especially on the international scene. Book publisher Harlequin has added a compelling final chapter to its tremendously popular So You Think You Can Write (SYTYCW) 2013 event by announcing seven winners from two writing contests held simultaneously in its search for new talent. One winner was named in the romance contest, featured on Harlequin’s official SYTYCW website, while six more were announced as winners of the New Adult competition, which took place on Wattpad, the world’s largest community of readers and writers.
