Nintendo is launching a new Wii U Deluxe Set that puts the focus on value, and highlights the two biggest names in video games: Mario and his brother, Luigi. Available in stores on November 1, the Wii U Deluxe model will come with two games – New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U – all on one disc. With just two days left before the much-anticipated release of the Batman’s intense new adventure, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released the Batman: Arkham Origins – “Personal Mission” Launch Trailer.  The launch trailer for this WB Games Montréal title sets the tone for visceral combat, an expansive Gotham City and action-packed story players can expect to see as they suit up as the young hero known as Batman to take on Black Mask and eight deadly assassins. Interactive Entertainment has revealed a comprehensive seventeen minute gameplay walkthrough video for Batman: Arkham Origins featuring Senior Producer Ben Mattes and Gameplay Director Michael McIntyre at WB Games Montréal as they guide viewers through the mechanics of the new title, highlighting the game’s deep combat system and engrossing narrative. With just over a week until the launch of Batman: Arkham Origins, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has unveiled the game’s TV spot and confirmed the mobile game is available now in the App Store for iPad, iPhone and iPod. The Batman: Arkham Origins spot will be running on broadcast TV from 22^nd October.  The emotional piece depicts the transformation from Bruce Wayne’s dark childhood to his position as the feared crime-fighting hero. In a statement released just over an hour ago, Ubisoft has announced that the much-awaited game Watch Dogs will be delayed until the Spring of 2014. This news is disappointing to the Village Gamer house as this is one of the few games we’ve put on pre-order for the Wii U – we were looking forward to seeing how this action title would play with the extra screen. Emerald, an atmospheric, story-driven action-adventure game Emerald, currently in development at Vancouver’s KrangGames, is heading into its final 48 hours on Kickstarter, where the campaign has raised $ 7 395.00, surpassing its goal of $ 5 800.00 and heading towards meeting the developer’s sixth stretch goal. Our congratulations to the team at Hinterland Games, who was beyond thrilled to announce earlier today that first-person post-disaster survival sim title The Long Dark reached its $200,000 fundraising goal on Kickstarter – with three days remaining in the campaign.
