Niwuzzles Launches To iTunes
Chilliwack programmer Dan Carlson and teacher Dave Ellis have announced that their new word puzzle game Niwuzzles is now available exclusively for iPhone and iPod touch for $1.99. Niwuzzles, a word created from “nine-letter word puzzles,” is a unique and addictive word game using only nine-letter words centered around themes.
Each Niwuzzle is a set of nine, nine-letter words that the player must discover and correctly drag a path through the word, spelling it correctly. One letter from each word is used in the final jumble, an anagram that must be unscrambled to complete the puzzle. The game includes themes like Animals, Food, Music, Math, Countries and Famous People. Three exciting modes—Classic, Triwuzzle and Confusion—as well as a fast-paced two-player mode provide a variety of challenges.
Features include:
- Addictive touch-screen word-solving mayhem.
- Many, many hours of gameplay in categories like: Shakesperean Characters, Nine Different Letters, Rhymes with a fruit, etc.
- Great word fun for kids (though not good for your ego when your 9 year old cousin thrashes your score).
- Play and Pass mode allows two contenders to battle it out for puzzle dominance.
- Save your high scores as an eternal monument to your lexigraphical superiority.
- Learn how to spell long words real good (Note: Not proven to improve grammar).
- Turn on hints when things get a little too hard!
Niwuzzles is rated Rated 4+ and is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad devices running iOS 4.0 or later.
