[1]Zylog Systems (Ottawa) Ltd [1] has been selected as a Vendor of Record (VOR) for the Government of Ontario in both task-based and solutions-based information and information technology services. The Ontario Government allows qualified organizations to apply to become a VOR every three years. Gaining this status allows broader public sector organizations, including municipalities and services organizations, to approach the vendors directly in a three bid system.
“Gaining VOR status with the Ontario Government for Solutions Based I&IT Services is a great compliment to our existing task-based Vendor of Record status. Zylog can provide unique and innovative solutions to the Provincial Government on a broader scale, with highly competitive rates, and with a wider variety of delivery methodologies,” said John Mehrmann, CEO of Zylog Systems (Canada) Ltd. “This type of pre-qualification allows Zylog to work more closely with key public sector organizations to drive innovation, improve citizen services, and save time and money”.
The solutions-based Vendor of Record list is only for elite companies. Qualifying vendors are required to have delivered projects in excess of $5 million in value that require specialized skills in a variety of technologies. Zylog has successfully provided task-based services to Provincial and Federal Government, demonstrating the highest levels of commitment and quality. Zylog now has the opportunity to participate with bids and proposals for solutions.
