[1]The Canada Media Fund [1] (CMF) congratulates the winners of the 29th prix Gémeaux who received awards on September 11 and 14. With these awards, the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television (ACCT) recognizes the outstanding work of industry professionals in the French language market. The Academy nominated 85 CMF-funded projects that received a combined total of 267 nominations. Of those, 30 productions won a total of 66 Gémeaux Awards, including top winners such as Série Noire, Les Beaux Malaises, Infoman, and the People’s Choice Award winner, Unité 9.
