Talent Inc Canada Announces Overall Scholarship Winners
Talent INC Canada has quickly become a hot bed for the entertainment industry by providing quality training and the unique opportunity to network with top industry professionals. The Canadian National Conference hosted by Talent INC is celebrating it’s second season of success by announcing the overall winners of full scholarships to the next showcase.
The overall winner for the category of Child Actor aged 4-12 is Lizzie Boys from Vancouver. Her combined scores were the highest in the TV Commercial and Film Scene competitions.
From Toronto, the overall winner for the category of Female Actor aged 13 and over went to Alexis Whelan. Alexis scored the highest scores in the TV Commercial, Film Scene and Monologue competitions combined.
In the Male Actor division aged 13 and over went to Toronto-based Tucker Bowman. Tucker’s combined scores were the highest in the TV Commercial, Film Scene, and Monologue competitions.
Despite the horrible flooding in Calgary just prior to the conference, the overall winner for Child Model aged 4-12 went to Calgary native Carson Pound. Carson had the highest combined scores in the Photography and Runway competitions.
The overall winner of the Female Fashion category aged 13-25 and 5’8″ and above went to the beautiful and talented Yasmine Mohammed of Ottawa. Yasmine had the highest combined scores in the Photography, Swim Suit, and Runway competitions.
This year’s overall Male Fashion winner aged 13 and over and 5’10” and above went to Toronto’s Bradley Morris. Bradley had the highest combined scores in the Photography, Swim Suit, and Runway competitions.
In the overall Commercial Model category aged 13-25 and under 5’8″ in height the award went to Rebekah Triggerson of Toronto. Rebekah had the highest combined scores in the Photography, TV Commercial and Runway competitions.
The overall Classic Model award went to the incredibly talented Bernie Jansen of Calgary. The award for classic overall model is restricted to our clients over the age of 26 and based upon the combined scores from the Photography, Runway, and TV Commercial scores.
Last in the overall categories but certainly not least was 9 year old show stopper Benjamyn Brockington of Toronto. Benjamyn won the overall Talent award for his dancing and acrobatics. Benjamyn beat out over 30 other performers from all across Canada.
“My Talent INC Experience, was a true dream week and a trip through the wind to fulfill my dreams and feed my talents just overall an AMAZING experience,” said Yasmine Mohamed.
The final scholarship was awarded to Caroline Biedka who won the You Tube video award for documenting her Talent INC experience on video. Her video was voted on, and beat out scores of other entries.

“We are extremely proud of all of the talent we bring to the National Conference. It was a very tight competition with some of this year’s winners only ahead by literally fractions of a point,” said John Stevens.
“We are already gearing up for the next conference to take place in April of 2014. It is because of the level of talent in attendance that we are able to fill our VIP seats with some of the very best in the business,” added Doug Sloan.
