Big Blue Bubble Inc. announced today that Burn the Rope Worlds HD has come to the big screen and is now available on the iPad. Burn the Rope Worlds HD follows in the footsteps of the original game with 100 more levels, four different and exciting worlds, and a brand new mini-game called Endless Burn. Funcom has released brand new screenshots and a developer diary video for its upcoming massively
multiplayer online game ‘The Secret World’. The new screenshots includes a look at characters from the three secret societies – the Illuminati, the Dragon, and the Templars.
Two of the screenshots also shows the new character faces graphics that are in development, a huge leap in detail and quality from the character face graphics that have been presented in screenshots, videos and live demos of the game earlier. Read the rest of this entry »

In this physics-based action puzzler, currently ranking #27 in the Casual Games category, and #158 in paid games overall, you play the role an adorable creature born to an empty nest because the evil humans have kidnapped your family, and obviously, revenge must be taken! Ontario’s
Wild Games Studio and Boston-based Alnoor Games have released
Gravinaytor, an iOS adaption of the very popular flash-based game of the same title. Gravinaytor features 5 new levels in the iOS version, along with new tutorials, updated in-game navigation and beat the clock modes.

Hothead Games has launched Gem King,which I thought was a new title – until I went and looked at the iTunes page for the game. Instead, it appears that it is a copy of Kickin’ Momma, a game which I thoroughly enjoy (and paid for), with a different name and a few updates. Kickin’ Momma has been removed from the App Store, and now this free duplicate is not compatible (and thus not downloadable) to my second generation iPod Touch, so apparently the “coming soon” screen on the 4th level of my Kickin’ Momma game will forever be empty – and the enjoyment I had in playing the game has been gutted.
