The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is pleased to announce the launch of ScopifyROM, an exciting new smartphone application that allows visitors to experience ROM objects in fun and interactive ways, including Animating a dodo, X-raying a mummy, and Skinning a dino. Developed by Toronto-based production company Kensington Communications, the studio behind Museum Secrets, ScopifyROM is a digital discovery platform that allows visitors to interact with select objects throughout ROM galleries in ways never before possible in any museum. A partnership between Backroad Mapbooks and the Province is bringing the exciting activity of ‘geo-caching‘ to 18 of B.C.’s popular recreation sites and trails. In recognition of their 20th anniversary, Backroad Mapbooks has developed a GeoTour program to celebrate and promote Canada’s beautiful backcountry. Vancouver-based in-game advertising company Reloaded Interactive has announced the launch of a dynamic in-game advertising campaign for Virgin EMI Records, promoting Avicii’s debut album ‘TRUE’. The campaign, which was planned by British media agency the7stars, is set to run from September 16th through to September 22nd, 2013 and will be delivered into the PC video game Striker Superstars, which is one of many games participating in the Reloaded network.
