TFcon – Canada’s Transformers Collectors Convention – returns July 27-29, 2012 to the Delta Meadowvale Resort and Conference Centre in Mississauga for its 10th anniversary. The convention’s organizers are happy to announce they will be holding their first ever charity auction July 28th for Make-A-Wish Canada. HP Canada has announced that floor-to-ceiling life-like graphics produced on HP latex printing systems are helping visitors dive into the world of dinosaurs at an exciting new exhibit at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). Preschoolers and their families in Ottawa and Nepean will be treated to a summer reading visit from TVOKids host Gisèle for the second year in a row. The star of TVO’s early learning program block Gisèle’s Big Backyard brings her Read with Gisèle Tour to two branches of the Ottawa Public Library on Saturday July 28th. The Canadian Internet Registration Authority, the organization that manages the .CA Internet domain, is celebrating .CA’s pivotal role in bringing Canadians together online and building Canada’s digital brand abroad. In 1987, responsibility for the .CA domain was assigned to John Demco at the University of British Columbia by Jon Postel, operator of the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA).
