Debuting as a special one-hour episode on Monday, April 6 at 6 p.m. ET, the quirky comedy follows Star Butterfly, a teen princess from another dimension who, after receiving an all-powerful magic wand for her 14th birthday, is sent to Earth to live with the Diaz family and their responsible son, Marco. Vancouver’s Carbon3D has emerged from stealth on the main stage of the TED conference with an innovative approach to polymer-based 3D printing that promises to advance the industry beyond basic prototyping to 3D manufacturing. The new Continuous Liquid Interface Production technology (CLIP) harnesses light and oxygen to continuously grow objects from a pool of resin instead of printing them layer-by-layer.
