Sage North America announced today the results of its mobile survey, which recently polled 476 small and midsized businesses in Canada. The Sage SMB Survey on Mobile Devices (PDF) showed that Canadian business owners find the use of mobile technology to have a positive effect on their company’s productivity. Eighty-three per cent of respondents said that mobile technology has had a positive effect on their businesses, while just one per cent found mobile technology has negatively impacted their business. Coming up on April 1st 2013, Nimbus School of Recording Arts is launching the first annual Nimbus Mix Contest in partnership with Universal Music Canada, hosted by Indaba Music. High school students, aged 13-19 have the chance to create their own mix (or remix) of tracks from Hedley, Sam Roberts, and Karl Wolf for a chance to win a $25,000 scholarship to attend Nimbus. Starting April 1, 2013, students will be able to download the raw tracks and create their own unique mixes (or remixes).
