Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome is a new, shot in Vancouver science-fiction drama from NBCUniversal which premiered the first of ten episodes yesterday on Machinima Prime’s YouTube channel. February 2013 is when Syfy, a division of NBCUniversal,will be expected to televise the pilot and also offer it on DVD, Blue-Ray, On Demand, and digital download. Throughout the history of the Battlestar Galactica franchise, LightWave 3D^® software has been a constant in the show’s production pipeline for everything from otherworldly atmospheres to earth-shattering visual effects. Autodesk Inc. has announced the release of “Starforce Battlement,” a new 2D mobile tower defense game developed by the Autodesk Gameware team using the Autodesk Scaleform Mobile Software Development Kit (SDK) and Autodesk 3ds Max software. Created as a proof-of-concept game, “Starforce Battlement” is an engrossing mobile experience that demonstrates the latest capabilities of the Scaleform Mobile SDK. It is available today on iOS as a free iPad download and will be available on Android devices this year.
