D-Day to Victory Interactive, an online documentary experience recreating the WWII final assault on Nazi-occupied Europe, was a big winner at the 2012 FITC Awards walking away with the “3D’” and “Best of Show” awards. An extension to the History Television and Channel4 TV series, D-Day to Victory Interactive, was produced by Emmy® Award-winning agency Secret Location. The “Best of Show” award was selected by an international panel of judges that included senior creatives from Big Spaceship, CP+B, North Kingdom, TAXI and Wunderman. A War Amps public service announcement, Rebecca and The Roughriders, has won a Gold Award at this year’s WorldFest-Houston competition, along with The War Amps Matteo PSA and longer profile Matteo’s Story.  WorldFest Houston is one of the oldest and largest film and video competitions in the world, with more than 4,500 category entries received from 37 countries in 2011. UK developer Feral Interactive has released the international blockbuster Action-RPG video game, Deus Ex: Human Revolution^TM for the Mac. Developed by Eidos-Montreal for game consoles and PC and brought to the Mac by Feral Interactive, Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a prequel to the legendary Deus Ex (2000). Following an incredibly productive  MIPTV 2012, Distribution 360 is pleased to announce that it has closed sales for three of its television programs. I have a Samsung SH100 point and shoot that works very well with both my Samsung Fascinate Android phone and Acer tablet, and thus far I’m really liking it, but find its limitations for event coverage to be a bit of a challenge. That said, I do like the wireless features, and wish I could find space in the budget for one of these new cameras from Samsung – the SH100 was part of a Telus promotion and was included with my Android phone.
