The giant Xbox One I told you about earlier this week powered up last evening (I was at work beating the quarterly Fuel Tax report into submission and couldn’t make the event) and onlookers at the corner of Nelson and Seymour in Vancouver were witness to a seasonal treat – a live action appearance of new character Nick Ramos from Capcom Vancouver‘s upcoming Dead Rising 3 title and a horde of zombies. The defending crowd was armed with an array of weapons to beat back the horde and they did just that, and they did it with gusto! In the spirit of Halloween, Dead Rising 3 also released a new trailer to celebrate. The trailer encapsulates the reckless carnage of the hotly anticipated open-world zombie action game. Rhombus Media, Corus Entertainment‘s Movie Central, and Bell Media‘s The Movie Network have announced that production is underway on Sensitive Skin, a new series based on the acclaimed BBC program of the same name, with shooting to take place in Toronto over six weeks. Kim Cattrall stars in the bittersweet comedy about 50-somethings and executive produces along with co-star Don McKellar, who directs all six episodes from scripts by Bob Martin. Also announced today are additional cast members including Academy Award^®-nominee Elliott Gould (M*A*S*H, Friends, Ray Donovan), Nicolas Wright (White House Down), Gemini Award-winner Colm Feore (The Borgias), Joanna Gleason (Last Vegas), Gemini Award-winner Clé Bennett (FlashPoint), Mary Walsh (This Hour Has 22 Minutes), and Marc-André Grondin (C.R.A.Z.Y.). Prior to Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition’s release on November 15th, Beamdog, Atari and Overhaul Games have announced the release of concept art for new playable character Hexxat, as well as 12 new screenshots and three new music samples from the game, which you can find on the game’s official ‘media‘ page. The original Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn, launched in September 2000, quickly becoming the most celebrated Dungeons & Dragons fantasy roleplaying video game of its time.
