Liverpool Football Club has announced a new three-year partnership with Electronic Arts Inc. that will make EA Sports^TM the Club’s Official Football Video Gaming Partner commencing from the start of the 2013/14 Barclays Premier League season. Through the partnership, EA Sports will give Liverpool FC fans the opportunity to play FIFA 14 at Anfield for selected fixtures throughout the season. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment has confirmed that Batman: Arkham Origins, in development at WB Games Montreal, will ship with a mode that allows players to take the franchise’s award-winning gameplay online to play with friends and foes.  The online component blends the traditional Arkham gameplay with third-person shooter mechanics and is in development by Splash Damage. Barcelona announced today that they have agreed to a three-year partnership that will make EA Sports™ the Exclusive and Official Video Game Partner of one of the most popular and storied soccer clubs in the world. Over the course of the partnership, F.C. Barcelona and EA will develop a range of interactive activities to entertain and engage fans both at Camp Nou and around the world. At selected home matches over the course of the season, the EA Sports Dugout, a mobile gaming trailer, will be on-site so fans can play EA SPORTS games. In addition, F.C. Big Blue Bubble Inc. has joined musical forces with Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Kristian Bush of Sugarland to collaborate on a brand new character for My Singing Monsters, their award-winning and critically-acclaimed title which is currently enjoying success on multiple platforms.  Bush contributed vocals and mandolin for the ‘Shugabush,’ which was designed and animated by the talented artists at Big Blue Bubble. The collaboration began when Bush – who was introduced to the game by his 11 year old son – tweeted his affection for the game. Creator Dave Kerr responded, and the two eventually connected off-line to dream up a new fedora-wearing, mandolin-strumming character. Female-focused development studio Silicon Sisters Interactive is pulling back the curtain on their next project: Everlove, a casual game designed to appeal to the more than 74 million people who read romance fiction each year. An interactive narrative that plays like a romance novel brought to life, Everlove will release for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Android in August with versions for PC and Mac to follow.
