In a new video from Ubisoft, Game Director Ashraf Ismail walks you through the latest Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag next generation gameplay, as pirate and assassin Edward Kenway stealthily stalks his next target under water and through Havana. Hot off the grill, a new video game studio has arrived in St. John’s. Founded by two game developers with a passion for intense experiences, Red Meat Games offers the kind of video games that players have a hunger for, and their first offering is partway through a very successful Kickstarter campaign. Steel & Steam: Episode 1 is a retro fantasy steampunk JRPG situated in a large open world. The studio’s initial funding goal has been met, and the developers are now working towards realizing their stretch goals, to which further contributions received will be applied. Spearhead Games, an independent game studio founded by former EA, Ubisoft® and Eidos® developers, today revealed that it intends to publish Tiny Brains, the co-op puzzle game that drew wide acclaim at this year’s E3, as a PlayStation® 4 launch title in November, alongside simultaneous releases for Xbox LIVE® Arcade and Steam. However, PAX Prime attendees won’t have to wait until November to get their hands on PS4 controllers and play Tiny Brains: they can try a demo at the show in booth 6305. Mario & Luigi: Dream Team puts players inside the head of Luigi … literally! In the game, players journey into the imaginative dreams of Luigi to help save Pi’illo Island from a mysterious villain. Using the touch screen on the Nintendo 3DS system, players can manipulate a sleeping Luigi to make fantastical things happen in the dream world, such as altering the dream world environment and growing Luigi to gargantuan size.
