Montreal indie studio Spearhead Games has announced that the studio will demo Project Cyber and host its first tournament at the Unreal Engine Epic Booth #1147 at PAX East. Project Cyber is a physics-based competitive game where champions compete in 3-vs-3 soccer-inspired battles in a cyberpunk world. Spearhead has opened up the entire development process to the community, and more than 50,000 players have already requested Steam keys to share their feedback and see the game progress. Electronic Arts Inc. and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC^®) have announced that Bruce Lee, “The Father of Mixed Martial Arts”, will make his historic first step into the Octagon^® in EA Sports UFC, launching June 17, 2014. Fans can pre-order today to get instant day-one access to Bruce, or they can complete the game’s career mode at Pro difficulty to unlock him. Through the magic of modern technology, I’ve just received a bundle of postcards from the creative folks over at Hinterland Studio on Vancouver Island. BattleGoat Studios has been thrilled with the positive response to the Steam Early Access beta of Supreme Ruler 1936, their WWII strategy game currently under development. It’s time to get egg-cited! Yoshi’s iconic green-dotted eggs have grown to gargantuan size in the Yoshi’s New Island game, launching for Nintendo 3DS on March 14 – and check out the info below on Yoshi’s Spring Tour. In his new platforming adventure, Yoshi once again moves from sidekick to hero and traverses a wide variety of worlds on a new island to help Baby Mario reunite with his kidnapped brother. Yoshi’s New Island is the third game in the beloved Yoshi’s Island series and features inventive new transformations, giant new eggs, colourful new art styles and a fun new multiplayer mode.
