Indigo Books & Music Inc. and internet service company Rakuten, Inc. have announced that Rakuten has agreed to acquire all of the outstanding shares of Kobo Inc. on a fully diluted basis for US$315 million. Campus Stores Canada has announced that it will affiliate with CampusEbookstore.com, allowing its members the ability to sell e-books online. This partnership will give students across Canada access to more than 250,000 commercial and public-domain e-book titles through Google eBooks.
